Bright, indirect light. Water only when the soil is extremely dry. Generally, the water cycle is 10-12 days for hot and humid weather conditions. During winter, water it every 15-20 days. Overwatering will make leaves yellow and mushy and cause root rot, eventually after which the plant will die.
